Nursing Representative

RYan Kwong

Ryan Kwong (he/him) is a junior from Oakland, California, pursuing a dual degree between Healthcare Management at Wharton and Nursing. Ryan is the current UA nursing representative of the 52nd Session, and will serve on the community, engagement, and sustainability committee. This session, Ryan has two main goals. First, he is excited to create more community-focus initiatives and advocate for the implementation of mutually beneficial partnerships within West Philadelphia. Second, he has a focus on student health, specifically increasing access to mental health resources and providing better advocacy through mental health first aid training. Of course, he will also take part in all of the nursing related projects as well, including providing printing resources to the nursing student body and establishing the nursing board as part of UA steering. Outside of UA, Ryan has a focus on community services as he serves as the President of Community Champion within the Nursing School and is the incoming President of the Netter Center Student Advisory Board. In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with friends, family, and dogs, going on hikes, and exploring the city for new restaurants. Feel free to reach out via email: ryank04@wharton.upenn.edu.
