Engineering Representatives

chandler cheung

Chandler Cheung is a junior studying computer science in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He is from Wellesley, MA. Last session, he has worked on initiatives regarding permanent vigil spaces and more interdisciplinary concentrations. This session, he wants to work on more projects relating to academic resources and initiatives. Outside of the UA, Chandler is a TA for CIS 5480 and is involved with WUFC (technology/quant committee), WAX TMT, and APSC (social committee); he is also a tutor for CIS 120 and CIS 160 and was a tutor for BEPP 250 in the past. venkatesh shenoy

Venkatesh Shenoy (he/him) is a senior studying Bioengineering at the School of Engineering and Applied Science with minors in Chemistry and Engineering Entrepreneurship. He is from Bloomington, Illinois, and is a long-suffering Chicago Bears fan. Venkatesh serves as an Associate Member on the UA and is passionate about creating a more inclusive environment at Penn with greater awareness of campus resources. Last session, Venkatesh was on the Community Engagement and Sustainability committee and worked with Student Health and Counseling to make over-the-counter medicine more accessible for students. Additionally, Venkatesh served as a member of the Physical Health Advisory Board for Wellness at Penn. Outside of UA, Venkatesh is the Vice President of Service at Alpha Phi Omega, a Consulting Analyst at Wharton Undergraduate Healthcare Club, a tutor at West Philadelphia Tutoring Project, and Copy Associate at the Daily Pennsylvanian. Venkatesh also loves watching (and talking) sports, playing video games, and recently picked up ultimate frisbee and Latin and Ballroom Dance (join Penn Latin and Ballroom!).
