University Operations Suspended Thursday 2/8

From the Division of Public Safety, "The City of Philadelphia is expecting millions of people to attend this Thursday’s parade to celebrate the Philadelphia Eagles historic Super Bowl victory. This event will come with significant logistical and transportation challenges that will impact our entire community. Both SEPTA and PATCO have issued advisories that will substantially modify service on Thursday in order to accommodate people traveling to the City to view the parade. (See current information here.)

With this in mind, the University will suspend normal operations on Thursday, February 8, 2018. As a result, all classes and University-sponsored events are cancelled on this date."

Enjoy the parade, Quakers!

Apply for UA Associate Membership!

Interested in getting involved in student government? Want to work toward shaping policies that can benefit the student body? Apply to be an Associate Member on the UA! UA Associate Members (AMs) are full members of the UA, just without the voting privileges. AMs are required to attend one UA GBM per semester, and a committee meeting every week. This is a highly worthwhile time commitment that can allow you to work on projects that will help your classmates and learn a lot about how Penn works. If interested in applying, click this link, or email UA Speaker Michael Krone (speaker@pennua.org) to learn more.
