Legal Services, a UA-GAPSA collaboration, gives Penn students access to free legal advice throughout the academic year.

We deal with all sorts of legal problems, but we do NOT handle landlord-tenant disputes or suits involving the University of Pennsylvania. Legal Services contracts local attorneys to meet with students for half-an-hour. Legal Services will handle some criminal matters, and others we can give the students names of attorneys who specialize in that area.

Please note that this service is only available to to University of Pennsylvania full-time undergraduate and graduate students. Faculty and Staff of the University are not eligible for this service. Moreover, please note that the UA (which administers the program on behalf of itself and GAPSA) simply serves as a liaison between students and the attorneys; we are not responsible for the advice dispensed.

UA Legal Services will resume taking applicants at the beginning of Fall 2010.
