Candidate Statement (2011)
I am thrilled to be running for UA President. In directing the Student Life Committee for over a year, I’ve achieved tangible results such as the creation of PennApps Labs and the Dining Advisory Board all while unlocking funding sources for the Greek community. I also have experience advocating on your behalf at University Council for needs such as increased faculty diversity and transgender healthcare. With my runningmate, Faye Cheng for VP, I will continue to advocate for your needs by creating a club funding sources fair, increasing the responsiveness of Penn through everything from Facilities repairs to your dining needs, and more. We firmly believe in making your ideas a reality, whether or not you have time to help implement them. As such, we will increase your control over your academic, community, and personal lives in order to customize your Penn experience. Tyler and Faye: Have It YOUR Way.
