1st Term: Member for College (09-10)

Candidate Statement (2009)
After serving on the UA for over a year as a Volunteer Member, I have decided to run for election so I can do more for the students at Penn. My main concerns are academic policy and student rights. In the past I contributed to the restructuring of Penn Course Review and the redevelopment of Penn InTouch, two major improvements to course selection and registration that are debuting this Spring.  Currently I am working with the Provost’s Office to republish and publicize the Pennbook, a student handbook enumerating the rights students have in and out of the classroom. I have a year’s experience of serving on committees, talking to the administration, collaborating with fellow UA members and presenting before the UA. I will keep improving the lives of Penn students. I will listen to any student concerns, and I will continue to bring you results. Thanks for reading, all.
