1st Term: Member for Freshmen (09-10)

Candidate Statement (2009)
I realize that the world is not a perfect place. My goals are not to create a perfect, problem-free environment here on campus, but I hope to create improvements in the quality of learning, living, and leisure at the University of Pennsylvania.

I fully understand the capabilities of the Undergraduate Assembly. I plan to first improve the living conditions in all the college houses, especially where freshmen live. Living standards are a necessity. My main project initiative for this year is a 4-5 year Bathroom Restoration/Renovation Project that would replace the shower heads, make the floors less prone to flooding, and improve the overall cleanliness and sanitation levels of the bathrooms. I plan to listen to your problems. No matter how minor or major, every problem has a source that could affect multiple people. So, when voting time comes, remember the girl from the South who truly cares.
