Candidate Statement (2009)

Even though I’ve joined some great activities during this first year at Penn, I still feel that I have more to give to the University and its students. The UA can help me achieve that. After spending so much time in high school playing an active role in improving student life, this past semester has felt a bit empty without that privileged position. Standing on the sidelines watching while students complain about easily mended issues has pushed me to find a way to do my part. That is why I’m running for the UA, an absolutely amazing group of dedicated students with the drive to make our years here at Penn some of the greatest of our lives. Please do me the honor of giving me one of your SAS votes. I promise to represent our dynamic group of students, always carefully listening to what you guys really want done.
