1st Term: Member for College (09-10)
Candidate Statement (2009)
Most students don’t know who’s on the UA and that’s a problem. If you don’t know your representative, your representative doesn’t know you. And if your representative doesn’t know you, he or she doesn’t know what you want. I want to be a liaison between the students and the UA. I’m a hard guy to miss. I’ve got a fro and ride a bike with an orange WAWA crate on the back. If you have issues or concerns, just stop me on the street or email me at ricowehaveaproblem@gmail.com. Bottom line is this, I’m a problem solver. I don’t like pet projects (except for Nametag Day, ask me about it); I like substantive solutions. I’m not going to make any empty campaign promises because I don’t believe in that. But if I’m elected, I’ll do my best to make sure that every student has a voice in the UA.
